As an agent who's an expert in North County San Diego, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling residential and multi-family investment properties. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information and active in the local real estate investor community. Please read further if you want to better know Hector and how he is different from the rest.
Hector loves North San Diego County communities and takes pride in researching, advising, and getting the right property for his clients. To really know Hector is to understand his deeply ingrained experiences from an earlier career as a senior intelligence analyst. During his federal law enforcement career, he lived by and demonstrated the values found in his agency's motto of Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity. He has adapted those values and work ethic into his real estate passion. Hector has taken Fidelity to mean a loyalty and lasting support in representing your real estate needs and expectations. Hector prefers transparency, which entails spending time explaining, as necessary, the nuances of real estate market strategies and transactions. In following Bravery, Hector takes on all aspects of real estate client work with mental willingness to endure external obstacles and challenges that get in the way of your real estate goals. Finally, Hector believes that without Integrity, all is lost. He stresses that his reputation must be a serious endeavor and earned every day with each client.
Real estate is in Hector's veins. He grew up in the Pasadena-San Gabriel Valley working with his dad on their multi-family investment properties. Hector recalls his favorite time helping his dad deliver Christmas presents to all the tenants. After receiving his bachelor's degree in business administration from Cal Poly Pomona, Hector worked as a real estate financial analyst evaluating multifamily investment properties for one of the largest savings and loan institution. He honed his skills scrutinizing income and expense data to accurately create discounted cash flow models in valuing various apartment properties.
Hector also received a graduate degree from the University of Southern California, School of Public Policy and Development. Immediately upon graduation he worked on analyzing US government national security programs for the Government Accountability Office - the investigative arm of congress. He next took an intelligence analyst position with the FBI becoming a subject matter expert working national security operations.
In his spare time, Hector loves outdoor activities with his family. He can be found surfing with his son at various breaks from Cardiff to San Onofre. They also find new hikes and ride mountain bikes exploring open rugged trails throughout North County San Diego. Hector is also volunteers at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Carlsbad (ask him about their monthly brewery meet ups held at some of the best local microbreweries San Diego has to offer).
Hector is a trusted advisor bringing a focused and transparent approach to buying and selling residential and multi-family investment properties.
